Injured Atlanta Braves outfielder Matt Kemp is on the mend from the hamstring injury that sidelined him a little over a week ago but there is still no timetable for his return according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s David O’Brien. It is the same story for third baseman Adonis Garcia who has been out since June 7 due to a finger injury.
#Braves' Matt Kemp (hamstring) is only now about to begin running, hitting, baseball activities. No timetable for return. Nor for 3B Garcia.

It was thought that Kemp’s stay on the disabled list might be a lengthy one given that he has battled hamstring injuries in both legs for most of the season.
