The Atlanta Braves will try to salvage a series split and complete their 10-game road trip with a winning record on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers. Atlanta improved to 5-4 on the trip Saturday with a 5-1 win over the Brewers. Anibal Sanchez was solid again on the mound while Freddie Freeman snapped out of his recent slump with a three-hit day.
Sean Newcomb will be on the mound for Atlanta and will be looking to bounce back from his worst start of the season. Newcomb struggled with his grip and the hot temperatures in New York while allowing three hits and five runs in just 2 2/3 innings.
