Nats offense explodes again as Braves lose by five

For the second night in a row, the Washington Nationals’ lineup had their way with the Braves’ pitching staff. Unfortunately for Atlanta, the offense couldn’t keep up with Washington’s sluggers like they did on Monday night, as the Braves eventually fell to a 10-5 defeat.

Any hopes of a repeat of a strong performance from R.A. Dickey were quickly dashed in the bottom of the first inning, which is when the Nats got to work offensively. Ryan Raburn hit a one-out triple and then Ryan Zimmerman made a loud return to the Nationals lineup by knocking one of Dickey’s knuckleballs way over the center field fence for a two-run dinger.
