Left-hander Patrick Corbin will try to get back on the winning side when he makes his second start of the season for the visiting Washington Nationals in the middle game of a three-game set against the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday.
Corbin, considered the staff ace with Stephen Strasburg sidelined following thoracic outlet syndrome surgery, lost the Opening Day assignment 5-1 against the New York Mets on Thursday.
Corbin pitched four innings and allowed two runs on five hits and two walks with one hit batsman and five strikeouts in his first start.
