The MLB offseason has gotten off to a bit of a slow start. The Braves made their first move earlier this week bringing back Josh Tomlin on a one year deal that includes an option for 2022. However, the heavy lifting remains as Atlanta will once again need to find a big bat for the lineup along with some rotation help.
Marcell Ozuna bet on himself last offseason taking a one-year deal with the Braves and it will likely pay off as he turned in a stellar performance leading the National League in home runs and RBI. The thinking is that his market may be slower to develop until the status of the DH in the NL for 2021 is announced.
