Morton attempts to have another great start against Mets as Braves return home

After spending the entirety of last week playing eight road games in seven days, the Braves are back at home after a day off on Monday. That’s all the rest they’ll get, as they’ll be taking on one of those teams that they faced last week. This time it’s at home but the Mets are coming to town.

If anybody is chomping at the bit to see the Mets again, it’s Charlie Morton. Morton has faced New York twice this season and both times have been successful outings for the veteran hurler. He’s pitched 13 innings against the Mets and has only given up three hits, two walks, and one run over that span.
