World Series MVP Jorge Soler agreed to a three-year, $36 million with the Miami Marlins, multiple entities reported Saturday night.
Soler knocked in three homers and six RBIs while helping the Atlanta Braves defeat the Houston Astros in last year's six-game World Series. He became a free agent just days after being one of the Braves' biggest heroes.
Soler, 30, was acquired from the Kansas City Royals in late July and batted .269 with 14 homers and 33 RBIs in 55 regular-season games with Atlanta. He was just 2 of 13 over the first two rounds of the postseason before breaking out in the World Series.
