We have heard over the last couple of days that the Braves have been at least kicking the tires on most of the potentially available starting pitchers on the trade and free agent market, most notably Chris Archer although Coppolella was clear that Archer was far from the only primary target.
It appears as though Coppy really was a busy bee with negotiations first leading to agreements with Josh Collmenter and RA Dickey and with more trade proposals and headway being made on a multiple fronts.
