UNDATED (WKZO AM/FM) – The MLB Trade Deadline is this afternoon. The Tigers and the Braves made a trade on Monday. Atlanta acquired outfielder Robbie Grossman from the Tigers in exchange for left hand pitcher Kris Anglin. After hitting 23 homers and driving in 67 runs in 2021, Grossman has had a miserable 2022 season at the plate hitting just .205 with two homers and 23 RBI’s.
The Astros are making some moves ahead of the MLB trade deadline. Houston acquired first baseman Trey Mancini in a three-team trade with the Orioles and Rays. The Astros dealt outfielder Jose Siri to Tampa Bay and got back minor league pitcher Jayden Murray.
