The Giants reportedly have interest in another former Los Angeles Dodgers player.
MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported on Friday, citing a source, that San Francisco has interest in former Dodgers and Atlanta Braves closer Kenley Jansen in free agency.
The 35-year-old Jansen spent 12 seasons with Los Angeles, recording 350 saves in 705 innings pitched with a 2.37 ERA and a 13.0 strikeout-per-nine. Signing with Atlanta last offseason, Jansen recorded 41 saves in 64 innings pitched with a 3.38 ERA.
Coincidentally, if the Giants were to sign Jansen, he would join Joc Pederson as former Dodgers who signed with San Francisco after one season with the Braves.
