There's setting a high asking price, and then there's how Craig Kimbrel is approaching free agency.
The former Boston Red Sox closer reportedly has several interested suitors, but according to ESPN's Buster Olney, Kimbrel's camp may be asking those suitors to pony up some serious money.
Kimbrel is a seven-time All-Star and one of the best closers in baseball, not to mention free agency. But a six-year contract seems just a little over the top for a relief pitcher on the wrong side of 30.
After all, a deal of that length likely would be north of $100 million -- Kimbrel declined the Red Sox's $17.
