According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Boston Red Sox are one of three teams that are all in on Atlanta Braves ace Max Fried. The other two teams that are all in are the Baltimore Orioles and the Toronto Blue Jays.
The Red Sox have been suspected to be all in on Fried for almost a month now, and for good reason. This past season, Fried started in 29 games, and posted a record of 11-10, an ERA of 3.25, and struck out 166 batters.
Fried is also a lefty, which the Sox desperately need in their starting rotation, and in their pitching staff overall.
