ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves moved A.J. Minter to its active roster Monday after Minter completed his latest rehab outing Sunday.
Minter pitched one inning for the Gwinnett Stripers, the Braves’ Triple A affiliate, Sunday in a game against Memphis where he didn’t allow a hit or run.
Minter, who was working his way back into form from a hip injury, walked one Redbird.
Minter, a graduate of The Brook Hill School, pitch collegiatly for Texas A&M.
The Braves’ pitching staff has been hit hard by injuries this year and having the lefty reliever back should serve give the bullpen a boost.
