(LEARFIELD) – The Brewers and Atlanta Braves traded the lead a couple of times before Milwaukee finally claimed an 8-5 win Wednesday night in Atlanta.
Four Brewers contributed three hits each – Jackson Chourio, Rhys Hoskins, Joe Ortiz, and Blake Perkins.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about the team getting 8 runs on 16 hits.
And, Murphy noted that included getting 9 hits off of Braves starting pitcher Chris Sale who struck out 10.
Freddy Peralta earned his seventh win despite giving up four runs and eight hits in five innings.
Frank Montas gets the start Thursday as the Brewers go for the sweep of the road series in Atlanta.
