Milwaukee Brewers bullpen falters in loss to the Atlanta Braves

(WNFL) – The Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-2 at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Wednesday.

The Brewers took a 2-0 lead in the first inning off Braves starting pitcher Chris Sale on a single by Gary Sanchez and a sacrifice fly by Blake Perkins.

That’s all the Brewers would do offensively as they managed eight hits.

Atlanta tied the game off of Brewers starting pitcher Freddy Peralta with home runs by Matt Olson and Travis d’Arnaud.

Atlanta took a 4-2 lead in the seventh inning on a single by Austin Riley off Elvis Peguero that scored Jarred Kelenic and Whit Merrifield.
