Spring training is still young but the Atlanta Braves are already dealing with a number of nagging issues with its pitching staff. Mike Foltynewicz started the second spring training game and looked solid but has been scratched from his scheduled start on Friday due to reoccurring soreness in his pitching elbow per a report from MLB.com’s Mark Bowman.
Folty will not start tomorrow because he felt elbow soreness during Sunday’s start in West Palm.

Bowman adds that Folty dealt with elbow soreness a different times last season although that was never reported.
