To say that Mike Foltynewicz’s start in Game One against the Dodgers was disappointing may be a bit of an understatement. He only managed to get through two innings on 50 pitches and while he did strike out five batters, he also walked three and gave up four runs including two home runs. Again, not an ideal start to the playoffs for the home town team.
However, his abbreviated outing appears to have the slight side benefit that we could see him again before this series is over.
Mike Foltynewicz is under consideration to start Game 4, Snitker said.
