The Atlanta Braves come into this weekend’s four-game series against the New York Mets with a 10-7 record and fresh off of a series win against the Philadelphia Phillies.
However, the good start is overshadowed after Freddie Freeman left Wednesday’s game after being hit in the same wrist that he broke last season. Atlanta is optimistic that Freeman might have escaped the incident without suffering another break, but he will be re-examined on Thursday.
The Braves are also dealing with a pre-game injury to starter Anibal Sanchez who was injured while running during pregame drills.
