ATLANTA — Eddie Rosario hit a two-run homer in the second inning, Marcell Ozuna added a solo shot in the fifth and the major league-leading Atlanta Braves held on to beat the New York Mets 3-2 on Tuesday night.
“I think we both have had our lows dating back to last season, so it feels good to be able to recuperate the confidence and have it back and be able to contribute to the team positively and help the team win,” Rosario said through a translator.
The Braves took a 2-0 lead on Rosario’s 20th homer, a 415-foot shot to right-center.
