Mets starter Carlos Carrasco made his spring training debut on Thursday afternoon at Clover Park against the Atlanta Braves. The right-hander threw a perfect first inning, but struggled a bit in his second frame.
Carrasco issued a lead-off walk to Kevin Pillar and then allowed a two-run homer to Braves outfielder Eli White. After another single, he bounced back to retire the next three batters to end his day.
Overall, he threw 30 pitchers in two innings of work and allowed allowed two runs on two hits while walking one and striking out one.
