The Mets put out Marcus Stroman for the start in game one of Monday's doubleheader with the Atlanta Braves, and while he put out a valiant effort over 5.0 innings, he ultimately picked up the loss in what was a 2-0 win for the visitors.
The game two strategy was to put on a bullpen game -- which ultimately was the winning decision, as the Mets bullpen had a stellar collective outing and returned the shutout favor right back to Atlanta, blanking them and helping the Mets grab a 1-0 win.
