The Atlanta Braves welcomed their new play-by-play voice on Thursday.
Brandon Gaudin will take over for Chip Caray, who left this offseason to take over the same job for the St. Louis Cardinals.
Gaudin was the voice of Georgia Tech football, men’s basketball and baseball from 2013 to 2016 and has remained an Atlanta resident ever since, according to a news release.
“Today is the realization of a childhood dream,” said Gaudin. “I get to be behind the mic for the team I grew up idolizing. And the team who fostered my love for both sports and broadcasting.
