Jul. 23—ATLANTA — Dylan Dodd was getting ready to make his start Saturday night for the Gwinnett Stripers when he found out that he had been scratched.
The former Bismarck-Henning standout wasn't sure what was happening but after the game, he was told to report to Truist Field on Sunday as he was joining the parent club, the Atlanta Braves, for the series finale against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Dodd, who made his Major League debut against the Cardinals in 2023, didn't get into the game on Sunday and he remains as a possible bullpen guy for the Braves or he could get a start later this week, the team hasn't announced it starters for their games beyond Tuesday's with the Cincinnati Reds.
