Not a week has gone by without at least one person us (and every Braves beat writer for that matter) what is going on with Luiz Gohara. Gohara, who was among the Braves’ more promising pitching prospects coming into the 2018 season, has barely pitched in the last two seasons after dealing with injuries and personal issues through the first half of the 2018 season and shoulder issues knocked him out for the second half of last year.
There was cause for optimism before the 2019 season, though. It was widely reported that Gohara had lost a good bit of weight and had committed to a lot of healthy work habits.
