When Luiz Gohara had a late start to his spring training due to a groin issue, it was seen as a minor setback and that he should be ready if not by the start of the season, then at the very least before the Braves needed to carry a fifth starter. That forecast changed drastically when he injured his ankle during pitcher fielding drills. Braves officials and fans alike have been anxiously awaiting when Gohara could return to action.
As of now, it appears that Gohara’s recovery is going rather well and we should see him on the field at SunTrust around the end of April or early May.
