That streak, of sorts, came to an end on Tuesday night. The Diamondbacks lost and Paul Sewald had nothing to do with it.
Their offense could not come up with a big hit off a tough pitcher. Their defense made a key defensive mistake. Their ace, Zac Gallen, labored through a long second inning, then might have been left in one batter too long in the sixth.
