Kyle Wright makes pro debut today

Kyle Wright was very hyped up heading into the draft, and was considered by some to be either the best or second best prospect- depending on your view of California prep arm Hunter Greene. Obviously Wright ranked very highly on the draft boards for both Talking Chop, and more importantly the Atlanta Braves, and the club didn’t hesitate to select the best college arm in the draft despite a heavy price tag.

Wright made his pro debut on Monday- his first meaningful game since his final start with Vanderbilt on June 10th. With well over a month off in between action, something that will happen when Wright’s 103 innings at Vandy this year topped his previous career high(from last year) by 10 innings.
