On the heels of a snow-out in Denver, the Atlanta Braves will return to action on Thursday evening. This time around, Brian Snitker’s team will be operating out of their own clubhouse at SunTrust Park, as the New York Mets arrive for the first of a four-game weekend set between divisional rivals.
Since opening the season in disappointing fashion, the Braves have righted the ship in a big way, winning seven of the last eight games. In attempting to keep that positive momentum, Atlanta will send veteran right-hander Kevin Gausman to the hill in the series opener.
