Kakes Sits, AJAX Debuts, and Camargo Starts in Right Field

With the Braves unexpectedly shorthanded due to injures to Tyler Flowers and Brian McCann, Alex Jackson will make his major league debut at catcher today. While the circumstances are not ideal, there should be excitement to finally see what Jackson can do in the majors. While his stay is likely to be short, Jackson has big time power that could be on display today and to start the week in Denver.

Beyond Jackson’s debut, Johan Camargo’s crash course in Outfield 101 continues as well. With lefty Caleb Smith on the mound, Brian Snitker decided to go with a right-handed heavy lineup.
