NEW YORK – By the time Carlos Rodon threw his third pitch of the game, the Yankees were on their way to a second consecutive lopsided loss.
Rodon’s night kept unraveling, the Yankees’ offense couldn’t produce against Braves starter Chris Sale and Aaron Boone’s club continued its current funk in an 8-1 loss to Atlanta before a crowd of 45,226 at Yankee Stadium Friday night.
The Yankees, who had just three hits, have now lost six of their last eight games and will turn to Marcus Stroman on Saturday hoping to avoid a fourth straight defeat.
