NORTH PORT, Fla. (WRBL) — While much of spring training focuses on the big league product, two minor league players are bringing a local flair to the practice fields.
Jordan Weems and Kolton Ingram are both representing Columbus during spring training and both pitchers are vying for a spot on the Braves starting roster.
both played baseball in the Fountain City. Weems played for the Columbus High School Blue Devils and Ingram played for the CSU Cougars.
Both were pitchers who wore number 12 and both had their high school numbers retired.
