For many, current Kansas City Royals general manager Dayton Moore is going to be at the top of the list of potential replacements for John Coppolella in Atlanta. Moore previously worked for the organization under John Schuerholz and then left and helped construct a World Series winner with the Royals.
However, that may not materialize according to MLB.com’s Mark Bowman who points out that Moore would be best suited to head up baseball ops in Atlanta and oversee a new general manager.
Hart has repeatedly stressed he plans to stay with the organization.
