In perhaps the wackiest game of the season, Joc Pederson delivered a walk-off single in the 10th to give the Atlanta Braves a 7-6 win over the Washington Nationals.
The Braves fell behind quickly as the Nationals scored in the first for the third straight game. Lane Thomas walked to lead off the game and then moved up to second on a ground out by Alcides Escobar. An infield single by Juan Soto put runners at the corners with one out. Josh Bell then jumped on an elevated 0-2 slider and drove it to the wall in left center for a double that scored Thomas to make it 1-0.
