Jeff Francoeur went 3-for-4 as the Washington Nationals defeated the Atlanta Braves, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon in a Spring Training game.
Washington starter Gio Gonzalez allowed just two runs on seven hits in six innings, and was composed throughout, giving the Nationals hope that he will have a strong season. Ryan Zimmerman drove in three runs, Brendan Ryan had two RBIs, and Bryce Harper knocked in a run. Anyways, on to the Braves.
Jhoulys Chacin seemed a pretty safe bet for the fourth spot in the Atlanta starting rotation just a few weeks ago, but now he very well may be on the outside looking in, as other candidates such as Williams Perez may slip into the rotation.
