A recently-acquired prospect and Atlanta’s 2013 1st round pick have both received call-ups to the big leagues.
The Braves have made another roster move, as they’ll be swapping a few pitchers around. First, Roberto Hernandez has been designated for assignment and Brandon Cunniff has been optioned and sent down to Gwinnett. They will be replaced by the recently-acquired Akeel Morris and the Braves’ first round draft pick from 2013: Jason Hursh.
Jason Hursh and Akeel Morris will join the Braves tonight. Roberto Hernandez DFA'd and Brandon Cunniff optioned.

Hursh was taken 31st overall in the 2013 draft, and it appears that the 24-year-old righty has completed his journey to the bigs after spending 2014 and 2015 at Mississippi and Gwinnett.
