I’d like to think that it is. It’s no question that Frank Wren depleted the Atlanta Braves farm system. He did this with irresponsible trades which gave away promising young Braves prospects like Elvis Andrus and Neftalí Feliz, just to name a couple. And due to irresponsible free agent signings during the Wren era, the Braves lost pretty valuable draft picks like with the brilliant Derek Lowe signing.
This being said, when Wren left and the new regime took over, many Braves fans were exciting about rebuilding a depleted farm system.
