With departure of Christian Bethancourt comes some new prospects for us to figure out and dream on in Casey Kelly and Ricardo Rodriguez
The Braves made the somewhat difficult decision to part with former top prospect Christian Bethancourt today. They also followed their pattern of visiting previous trade stomping grounds as they dealt him to the San Diego Padres, whom the Braves sent Craig Kimbrel to right before the 2015 season. While the haul from this trade is dwarfed by the Kimbrel deal (and rightly so), the two players the Braves got back are very interesting and worth a look.
