NEW YORK -- Ender Inciarte and Ozzie Albies provided the Braves a much-needed energy boost when they produced back-to-back homers during the fifth inning of Tuesday night's game against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium.
Limited to two hits through the first four innings, the Braves finally got to Domingo German when Inciarte turned on an 0-2 curveball and sent it into the right-center-field seats for a two-run homer. Albies followed with a solo shot to cut the Braves' deficit to 6-3.
Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis followed Albies' 18th homer of the season with consecutive singles to chase German.
