Ian Anderson will take the mound Wednesday for the Atlanta Braves as they look to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the NL Division Series against the Miami Marlins. Atlanta came back from a 4-1 deficit in Game 1 to win 9-5.
Anderson has been a boon for the Braves ever since his debut on August 26. He made six regular season starts and was impressive posting a 1.95 ERA while striking out 41 batters in 32 1/3 innings. Given Atlanta’s rotation struggles this season, Anderson’s arrival helped solidify the unit and allowed the Braves to close out the regular season strong.
