The Atlanta Braves Double-A minor league baseball team that’s moving to Columbus has released its 2025 schedule of home games.
After they relocate to Columbus from Pearl, Mississippi, the Class AA franchise will play its Southern League home games at Synovus Park, the renamed historic baseball stadium formerly known as Golden Park, undergoing a $50 million renovation.
The yet-to-be-named Columbus team will start its 2025 season on the road before opening night at Synovus Park on April 15 against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
“Opening night will be a landmark day in the rich history of baseball in Columbus,” Double-A Braves general manager Pete Laven said in a news release.
