Hector Olivera leaves jail after posting $10k bond

Braves outfielder Hector Olivera has posted $10,000 bond and is now out of jail and headed to the airport according to ABC7news reporter Jeff Goldberg.

BREAKING: source confirms Hector Olivera has posted $10k bond in Arlington & is now out. Currently en route to airport & leaving town.

Olivera was charged with one misdemeanor count of assault & battery for allegedly striking a female victim early this morning. Olivera was placed on administrative leave and Major League Baseball has begun an investigation into the incident.
