The Atlanta Braves managed to pull themselves out of a potentially devastating 2-0 hole on Monday night.
Despite not recording a hit until the sixth inning when the team faced a 4-0 deficit, Atlanta defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 2 of the National League Division Series, 5-4. It was enough to draw the series score even as the two teams head north to Philadelphia.
Phillies pitcher Zack Wheeler was dominant, allowing just one hit and one (unearned) run through six innings before conceding a two-run home run to former Mets teammate Travis d'Arnaud in the seventh.
