In the wake of Tuesday’s wounding of Perry Police Chief Eric Vaughn, who was shot in the thigh while disarming a deranged gunman, numerous local individuals and businesses have stepped up to show their support for Vaughn and the whole Perry Police Department.
Tiffany Olejniczak of Perry said that she “wanted to organize something that would allow the community to express their support for Chief Vaughn and the Police Department,” and she came up with the idea of yard signs and stickers.
The minimum donation for a double-sided yard sign with stake is $20, and the stickers are $5 each, Olejniczak said.
