A former 18th round pick by the Atlanta Braves back in 2014, Jacob Webb has worked his way through the Minor League system to earn his chance in the big leagues.
The 25-year-old played at Tabor College where he made 15 starts in 2014 and had a 1.88 ERA in 105.1 innings pitched with 129 strikeouts and a WHIP of 0.93.
That season he helped lead his team to a 51-13 overall record and a trip to the NAIA World Series.
Jumping to 2019, Webb was invited to Spring Training with the Atlanta Braves but didn’t get the results he was looking for.
