Ronald Acuna had two special fans in the stands at Truist Park to watch him and the Braves on Friday night.
A father and his 5-year-old son traveled from their home in Guatemala to Atlanta to attend their first baseball game and watch the Braves’ star outfielder, his son’s “idol.”
As it turns out, they picked a perfect game to make the trip.
Acuna had four hits in their 8-1 win against the Philadelphia Phillies, and hit a deep home run in the fifth inning.
The two, of course, were ecstatic.
