An absolute nightmare of a fourth inning was what ended up dooming the Braves to their seventh straight loss
For a brief period, the Braves held a precious two-run lead against the Nationals. Then the wheels came off for Tyrell Jenkins, and the Nationals proceeded to put a crooked number on the scoreboard during that frame. It was an uphill grind for Atlanta from that point forward, and despite another late-game rally, the Braves were unable to make up the deficit and eventually lost 11-9.
Again, the first three innings of this game went about as well for the Braves as they could have hoped for.
