For the fourth time since February, former Tigers pitcher Julio Teheran is signing a new contract.
Teheran signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday, according to the Baltimore Banner.
Teheran spent spring training with the Orioles but opted out of his deal after not making the opening day roster. He went on to sign with the Mets, with whom he appeared in one game before being released. He then signed a minor league deal with the Cubs, from which he opted out of over the weekend.
The Orioles, meanwhile, have lost three starters due to injury, potentially opening up a spot for Teheran in the rotation that wasn’t there at the start of spring training.
