Former Tiger Eli White called up to MLB by Atlanta Braves

A former Clemson baseball star is making a return to the major leagues. Eli White has been called up to the Atlanta Braves from the Triple-A Gwinnett Stripers.

This marks White’s first appearance with the Braves this season, following a brief stint last year where he played in six games, recorded a hit in 14 at-bats, drew two walks, and scored a run.

In 54 games at the minor league level this season, White has showcased his skills, batting .289 with seven home runs, 12 doubles, 28 RBIs, 38 runs scored, and 18 stolen bases.
