Former Georgia linebacker Rennie Curran (2007-2009) is set to race The Freeze at the Atlanta Braves versus New York Mets game on Saturday.
The former All-American middle linebacker recorded 298 tackles during his time in the Red & Black.
Curran was a third-round draft pick by the Tennessee Titans in the 2010 NFL draft and spent three seasons in the league before spending another three in the Canadian Football League.
First pitch at Truist Park is set for 7:20 p.m. on Saturday.
