Former Braves pitcher now projected as a top bust candidate in new role

The Atlanta Braves may have dodged a bullet with the departure of one of their veterans this offseason.

After returning to the Braves in his journey to four different teams for over a decade, right-handed pitcher Charlie Morton has spent the past four seasons with the squad. Morton, 41, enjoyed success with Atlanta, winning a World Series in 2021, and left this offseason, signing a one-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles.

Despite his success with the Braves, Morton was listed as one of the top ten biggest bust candidates for pitchers, according to Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter.
